Photographer Adriel Heisey shares his experiences and images from piloting his homemade aircraft over the Four Corners region, at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 28. Heisey's exhibit, Flying High Over the Four Corners: Aerial Photographs by Adriel Heisey, continues through October 5. Lecture is $2, free for members, and reservations are required. Listings SPANISH SPEAK. El Rio Neighborhood Center. 1390 W. Speedway. The Center for Homeless Children of the Americas, Inc., presents Advanced Conversational Spanish classes, beginning September 29 and continuing through November 15. Classes meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday evenings, and are conducted entirely in Spanish. Cost is $49, and all proceeds go to the CHCA, a nonprofit organization providing direct assistance to orphaned and homeless children in Mexico and Central America. Church Ave. Attend Tucson's Promise Summit, a free program where people are encouraged to make a commitment to build a better community for our youth, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, September 27. The Summit's honorary co-chairs are Representative Jim Kolbe and Ed Pastor. Help to connect volunteers with specific community problems.
