ECLECTIC WRITERS GROUP. Eclectic writers meet from 7 to
9 p.m. every Tuesday to read original works, practice writing,
critique work and discuss related issues. All forms, styles and
skill levels are encouraged. There is no membership fee. Call

Tucson poets and storytellers from 7:30 to
9:30 p.m. Tuesdays to share original works, or listen to the works

WOMANSPEAK. Aroma Café. 346 N. Fourth Ave. WomanSpeak
poetry and prose readings gather from 3 to 5 p.m. on the last
Sunday of the month, and feature two readers interspersed with
open mic. Sign-up for open mic starts at 2:50 p.m. The hope is
that these readings will bring together women writers from many
different aspects of Tucson's cultural life, for an exchange of
inspiration and encouragement. Readings are free.
WRITERS' GROUP MEMBERS WANTED. A small, ongoing writers'
group with a relaxed format of checking-in, group writing exercises,
reading and critique, seeks new members. Join them Saturdays from
