p.m. Saturday, October 3, with speakers Irene Ward Brydon, Director
of the Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland, CA; Cynthia Meier,
founder of Project RAISE; and Suellen Rocca. There's a closing

September 12: Tucson Invitational, including works by David

of the Sonoran Desert by Adriel Heisey. An opening reception and
slide presentation is offered from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September
10. Heisey offers a multi-media slide presentation at 8 p.m. Saturdays

tribute to long-time gallery member Patricia Anderson, including
a memorial display of her exquisite serigraphs. Gallery

ART WALK. Free, docent-led Art Walk tours of downtown art
galleries and public art spaces are offered every Thursday. Four
new, alternating routes cover new areas of downtown, Fourth Avenue,
and the evolving warehouse district. Tours leave at 5:30 p.m.

run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays, September 16 through 30. Docents
learn about the history and programming of the Arts District,
as well as the history of downtown and other anchor arts organizations.
Upon completion of the training, docents are asked to volunteer
for Arts District events as their schedule and interests permit.
