Presented by the Tucson Kitchen Musicians Association as a fund-raiser
for the Tucson Folk Fest, the Acoustic Mini-Fest features the
talents of Black Leather Zydeco, Tena Moyer, Out of the Blue,
Somos and Sal Valdivia. The concert is from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday,

The Bells of Easter Story, featuring choral and orchestral

Santiago de Murcia, Dionisio Aguado, Neapolitan songs and Puerto

INDIAN RAGA. UA Social Sciences Auditorium. The SPICMACAY--Society
for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Among
Youth-- club hosts an evening of traditional Indian music with
vocal and sitar master Pundit Manilal Nag. The free performance

INSTRUMENTAL TRIO. St. Philip's In The Hills. 4440 N. Campbell
Ave. The next in the series of spring concerts presented by the
Arizona Early Music Society is an instrumental trio with international
flavor: Eva Legêne, recorder; Wieland Kuijken, viola de
gamba; and Arthur Haas, harpsichord. The performance is at 3 p.m.
Sunday, April 5, preceded by a discussion at 2:30 p.m. by the
artists. Tickets are $13 general, $10 for seniors and $3 for students.

JAZZIN' FOR FAMILIES. Rialto Theater. 318 E. Congress Street.
Chicago and Arizona jazz artist Judy Roberts performs with TJS
members Tom Erwin and Mary Baker in a program entitled All
Jazzed Up!, a benefit for Pima County Healthy Families. The
performance is at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 4. Tickets are $50
for prefered seating, $35 for general seating, available at all
Pima County Healthy Families locations. Refreshments will be provided.

NOONTIME RECITAL SERIES. St. Philip's In The Hills. 4440
N. Campbell Ave. St. Philip's parish invites the community to
enjoy their free Lenten Noontime Concert Series at 12:15
p.m. Thursdays through Lent. The April 2 program features a string
ensemble. Bring your lunch, sit in the garden and enjoy the music.
PLAZA SUITE SPRING SERIES. St. Philip's Plaza. 4380 N.
Campbell Ave. The Tucson Jazz Society kicks off spring in the
plaza with a concert of five big bands performing the swing jazz
of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman and Count Basie, as well as contemporary
composers including Tucson's Neal Finn. The concerts are held
from 5 to 8 p.m. each Sunday in April, beginning April 5, and
continue Sundays in May from 6 to 9 p.m. Call the Jazz Hotline

The award-winning Seven Pipers Scottish Society performs at 2
and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 4. All seats are reserved. Tickets

SPRING MEDLEY. Sabbar Shrine Auditorium. 450 S. Tucson
Blvd. The 45-member Sabbar Shrine Concert Band presents its annual
spring concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 5. Program features a variety
of old favorites from marches to Broadway hits, followed by a
performance of dance music by the 16-piece Nobleaires Dance Band.
Tickets are $6 at the door.
UA FACULTY SERIES. UA Crowder Hall, southeast corner of
Speedway and Park Avenue. The UA Faculty Artist Series continues
with Edward Reid, Jeff Haskell and Paula Fan at 8 p.m. Monday,
April 6, at Crowder Hall. Join the "Concert Talk" prior
to the performance at 7:15 p.m. in Music Room 162. Tickets are

WIND IN THE WOODS. PCC Center for the Arts Recital Hall.
2202 W. Anklam Road. Pima Community College's newest concert band,
the Wind Symphony, debuts with guest conductor Glenn Bowen and
a program of works by Gustav Holst, Gioacchino Rossini, Malcom
Arnold, Jon Morrisey, Morman Dello Joio and others. The free concert
