The event features concerts and pre-performance commentaries. Master classes are held in the afternoon of Friday, March 15. The Gala Benefit Dinner and Recital begins with cocktails at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the Arizona Inn, 2200 E. Elm St. Festival musicians play musical selections at 7 p.m. followed by dinner and entertainment at 8 p.m. Cost is $135 for the Gala Benefit Dinner and all Chamber concerts, $80 for the Gala Dinner only, and $55 for all Chamber concerts only. TKMA PICK-NIC ON THE MOON. The Tucson Kitchen Musicians Association hosts its annual Pick-Nic from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at Valley of the Moon, 2544 E. Allen Road, located north of Prince Road between Tucson Boulevard and Country Club Road. This is a membership drive and fundraiser for the 11th annual Tucson Folk Festival. Partial proceeds benefit blues musician Rainer Ptacek. Featured artists include Ron Pandy, the Titan Valley Warheads, Dennis Offret, the Ronstadt Cousins and Stefan George and Songtower.
