ART AUCTION. The Green Fields Country Day School annual art auction, Create for Change, is Saturday, March 9, at the Arizona Historical Society, 949 E. Second St. Preview begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by a live auction at 7:30 p.m. Local artists donating works include Moira Geoffrion, Andrew Rush, Lance Patigian and Barbara Brandel. STUDY IN ITALY. Study art for up to six weeks this summer in Florence, Italy, with artist Catherine Nash. CALL TO ARTISTS. The City of Tucson is accepting written proposals for professional design services from combined civil engineering architecture and public art design teams for a construction design plan, including artwork, for pedestrian and transit stop improvements along Park Avenue from 18th Street to 36th Street. CALL TO ARTISTS. The Dinnerware Artists' Cooperative is accepting slides for the artists roster. Being included on the roster makes an artist eligible for exhibitions and the Directors' Board at Dinnerware. Applicants must work in the visual arts, be Tucson residents, pay a monthly dues of $35, and be willing to contribute time to the Cooperative. Individuals pursuing a degree are ineligible. CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS. The Arizona Media Arts Center is accepting entries for the 1996 Arizona International Film Festival, scheduled for April 18 through 28 in Tucson. Work submitted must be Arizona premieres. Narrative, documentary, animation and experimental work of any length produced between January 1995 and March 1996 in the formats of 35mm and 16mm in film and 3/4" and 1/2" in video is eligible for consideration.
