ENVIRONMENTSPARE THE AIR. Pima County Department of Environmental Quality has named March "Spare the Air Month." Participate by walking, carpooling, working at home, riding a bike or taking the bus to work to help cut down on that nasty brown cloud developing over Tucson. Women Build Houses, an organization teaching home building and maintenance designed specifically for women, offers classes throughout the spring. Classes provide hands-on experience to increase women's access to building skills and knowledge, while promoting environmentally safe building. Call Judy at 882-8876 for registration and information. RECYCLING CENTERS. The following neighborhood drop-off centers are open 24 hours daily: Cholla High School, 2001 W. 22nd St.; Booth-Fickett Magnet School, 7240 E. Calle Arturo; and Morrow Education Center, 1010 E. 10th St. All city and county landfills also have recycling centers. Call 791-5000 for hours and locations.
