ARIZONA THEATRE CO. 330 S. Scott Ave. 622-2823. ATC presents Tony Kushner's The Illusion, an adaptation of Pierre Corneille's L'Illusion Comique. Preview performances are at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 1, and 7:30 p.m. Sunday March 2, 4 and 6. Production opens at 8 p.m. Friday, March 7, and continues through March 22. One performance only, Friday, February 28: Borderlands Theater presents Mark Twain: The Wild Humorist of the Pacific Slope, developed and performed by McAvoy Layne. BOTTOM THE WEAVER. Directing Studio 116, New Drama Building. UA campus, southeast corner of Park Avenue and Speedway. Opening February 27, and continuing through March 1: The Theatre Arts Department presents Bottom The Weaver, a playlet based on a selection from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Performances are at 8 p.m. with a 2 o'clock matinee performance on March 1. Admission is free, but seating is limited. Tickets must be obtained in person at the Fine Arts box office, located in the lobby of the Marroney Theatre. Call 621-1162 for information.

THEATER DEGREE ZERO. Mat Bevel Institute. 530 N. Stone. 622-0192. Opening with two performances only, February 28 and March 1: Theater Degree Zero presents Victor Hugo Rascón Banda's Voces en el Umbral/Voices on the Threshold, a play that looks at the personal relationship between an upper-class German-Mexican woman and her Tarahumara servant. Showtime is 8 p.m. Content is recommended for mature audiences, and performances are bilingual. Tickets are $7. Call 622-0192 for tickets and information.

ARIZONA REPERTORY THEATRE. UA Marroney Theatre. Located in the Fine Arts Complex, southeast corner of Speedway and Park Avenue. Continuing through March 2: Sheldon Harnick's new musical, Dragons, directed by Daniel Yurgaitis. Performance times vary. ARIZONA YOUTH THEATRE. 5671 E. Speedway. 546-9805. Continuing weekends through March 22: Sleeping Beauty. Performances are 8 p.m. Friday, and 11 a.m., 2 and 4 p.m. Saturday. Continuing through March 22: Girl of the Golden West, or No Noose Is Good News, a Western musical comedy from a rugged Arizona mining camp, where a notorious outlaw finds redemption in the love of a good woman. Regular show times are 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 7 and 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 3 and 7 p.m. Sunday.
