BROWN BAG CONCERTS. The Tucson Arts District with the Tucson Jazz Society presents the Primavera Jazz Band in concert from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, at the Main Library Plaza, 101 N. Stone Ave. Bring your lunch and enjoy! BACH WEEKEND. St. Philip's In The Hills. 4440 N. Campbell Ave. The Arizona Early Music Society presents Edward Parmentier, performing works by Bach on the harpsichord, at 8 p.m. Friday, February 28. There's more Bach to come with Ensemble Versailles at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 2. This talented quartet will perform Bach's complete "Musical Offering." This concert will feature Josef Knott, Conductor; John Brobec, Fern Hieb, and Joan Ashcraft, organ and Martha Spore, tympani. Also performing are the Catalina United Methodist Church Sanctuary Choir, the Festival Ringers Handbell Choir, the Northminster Presbyterian Church Sanctuary Choir, and the Christ Church United Methodist Chancel Choir. The UA Faculty Recital series continues with a percussion concert by David Walton at 8 p.m. Monday, March 3. The Opera Guild of Southern Arizona presents an evening of entertainment, food and fun, on Sunday, March 2, with Trio Sudoeste (featuring Alandra Fowler, soprano, Gwen Powell, flute, and Deborah Nemko, piano). In addition, act one from The Ballad of Baby Doe will be performed by Colleen Rieth, soprano, Leslie Giglio, mezzo soprano, Michael Sheranian, baritone, and Raymond Ryder on piano. Cocktails begin at 5:30, with dancing to the music of Dean Armstrong's Arizona Dance Hands at 6 p.m. A barbecue dinner is offered at 7 p.m., with the musical program beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30 ($16 is tax deductible).
