The John C. Scott Show
10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 990, KTKT-AM

STAFF PICK: Hey, it's not like we agree with him all that often, but we have to give props to our favorite talk-radio gasbag. John C. Scott's no-frills radio-fiesta-on-the-road is occasionally funny, occasionally maddening, occasionally insightful (particularly when he's talking about what he's read in The Weekly) and occasionally even provocative. Given the lack of political reporting in the mainstream media, Scott fulfills a vital function: He gives elected officials and candidates a chance to air their views and lets voters ask them questions. The political landscape would be a poorer place without him.
