BEAD ART. Piney Hollow. 427 N. Fourth Ave. In celebration of the store's 25th anniversary, Piney Hollow presents an exhibition of artistic expression. Originally working only with jewelry and beads, these current and former Piney employees have extended into paints, sculpture, photography and music. CALL TO ARTISTS. Applications are now available for the Tucson Arts District Partnership's Warehouse District Loan Program. Eligible projects must leverage or support the creation of new art space in privately owned commercial properties in the warehouse area. CALL TO ARTISTS. The Tucson International Mariachi Conference seeks submissions for the Tucson International Mariachi Conference poster. Submit original artwork, sketches, or three slides of work completed within the last two years. An honorarium of $1,000 will be awarded. Work should reflect the 1998 Conference theme: Aires Mexicanos--its impact and cultural significance--in an abstract or representational style. CALLING COMMUNITY ARTISTS. The Tucson Arts Brigade is a multi-cultural, intergenerational collective of community-based cultural workers. EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOPS. WomanKraft Castle Art Center. 388 S. Stone Ave. 629-9976. WomanKraft continues its Neighborhood Arts Empowerment Workshop Series with Making Cards, on November 22.
