GILA MONSTER HOCKEY. Tucson begins the '98-'99 WCHL season
on October 16 in Anchorage. The first home game is October 23

SENIOR OLYMPIC ACTIVITY SERIES. Randolph Tennis Center.
50 S. Alvernon Way. The SOAS Tennis Clinic for seniors 50 and
over offers demonstrations and instruction for all ability levels

TUCSON ORIENTEERING CLUB. Get a clue about what you can
do with a map and compass. A beginner's clinic covering the basics
of the sport is offered at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 18 at
the Empire Ranch off Route 83. Courses set at five different skill
levels are available until noon. Costs are $8 for individuals

ULTIMATE FRISBEE. The Tucson Ultimate Frisbee Club announces
free, co-ed pick-up games at Himmel Park, starting about two hours
before sunset every Sunday. They also organize leagues and tournaments
throughout the year, and there's a club at the UA for students.
