AMATEUR BOXING. Kino Veterans Memorial Community Center.
2805 E. Ajo Way. Pima County Parks and Recreation, Centro del
Sur Community Center, Aztlan Youth Boxing Program, and Yoeme Boxing
Team present an Amateur Boxing Competition, featuring clubs throughout
the state of Arizona. Competition begins at
6 p.m. Saturday, October 10. A $3 donation is appreciated. Proceeds
are for Aztlan Youth Program, Inc. Children under 12 are admitted
free. Advance tickets are available at Centro del Sur Community
Center, 1631 S. 10th Ave., and at Kino Veterans Memorial Community
Center.
LATE NIGHT HOOPS. Randolph Center. 900 S. Randolph Way.
Free agents are being accepted for Late Night Hoops free-agent
night at 7 p.m. Friday, October 9, to form male, female, or coed
teams for further Saturday night play. League play runs from 7
to 9 p.m. beginning Saturday, October 17, at Randolph, Udall and
El Pueblo Centers. Call 791-4870 for information.
RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB. Tucson Magpies Rugby Football Club
practices (for their upcoming Arizona Rugby Football Union season)
are from 6 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday through April
at Oury Park, on the northeast corner of St. Mary's Road and I-10.

SENIOR OLYMPIC ACTIVITY SERIES. Randolph Tennis Center.
50 S. Alvernon Way. The SOAS Tennis Clinic for seniors 50 and
over offers demonstrations and instruction for all ability levels
from 9 to 11 a.m. October 12 and 15. There is a $5 fee. Call Phil

ULTIMATE FRISBEE. The Tucson Ultimate Frisbee Club announces
free, co-ed pick-up games at Himmel Park, starting about two hours
before sunset every Sunday. They also organize leagues and tournaments
throughout the year, and there's a club at the UA for students.
