WomanKraft presents its Neighborhood Arts Empowerment Project, a series of workshops covering everything from creating art to marketing and developing a portfolio. All workshops are at the castle, and are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Saturday, October 12, Gerrie Young and Madeline Travis will teach More Clay Crafts. ART IN THE MORNING. Tucson/Pima Arts Council. 240 N. Stone Ave. 624-0595. Grab a cup of coffee and find out more about ongoing opportunities for public art in Tucson. The Tucson/Pima Arts Council sponsors You Mean I Have To Build It?, a free lecture from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 12. ART WALK. Visit the Downtown Arts District between 5 and 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, with free docent-led tours of public art displays and participating galleries beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Park Inn Suite Santa Rita Hotel, 88 E. Broadway. On Saturday, October 12, take a tour of Tucson's Warehouse District beginning at 9 a.m. There are more than 60 artists currently creating in the workshop space available in the district.
