the personal finance debt reduction program called Money 2000.
Workshops are scheduled for 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. August 31, and September
14 and 30. There is a $10 registration fee, which includes membership,
a financial management workbook and subscription to the quarterly

PROTECT YOURSELF AGAINST CRIME. The Chai Society Jewish
Singles sponsor a workshop with guest speakers from the Pima County
Sheriff's Department on How to Protect Yourself Against Crime
at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, August 27. The workshop takes place at
the Tucson Jewish Community Center, 3800 E. River Road, and is
open to all interested adults. A buffet dinner will also be served.
