ARIZONA REPERTORY THEATRE. UA Laboratory Theatre. Located in the Fine Arts Complex, southeast corner of Speedway and Park Avenue. Opening June 20 and continuing through June 29: Arsenic and Old Lace. Show previews Thursday, June 19. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, June 20 and 21, and Thursday and Saturday, June 26 and 28; with 1:30 matinee performances Saturday and Sunday, June 21, 22, 28, and 29. Tucson's "Queen of The Blues," Mary Baker, makes an appearance at the June 19 and 26 performances. Show time is 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, with a 2 o'clock matinee Sunday, June 22. AUDITION NOTICE. The Young Adult Division of Quicksilver Productions, Inc. will be holding auditions for performers ages 16 to 22 for its August production of the classic Greek comedy Lysistrata. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script, and be from 1 to 4:45 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 28 and 29, in the lower-level meeting room of the Main Library, 101 N. Stone Ave. Major roles are available for four males and four females. There is also a large, mixed gender ensemble. Résumé and recent photo are recommended but not mandatory. Third Ave. Calling actors of all levels of ability, experience and interest: The Voice & Range Synaesthetic Workshop for Actors explores the collaborative nature of acting, exposing actors to dynamic improvisation technique, elements of "method," applications of theater exercise, and performance projects. Actors are included in the Voice & Range International Registry of Artists and Affiliates, and are entitled to lifetime collaborative agency by the Voice & Range. Actors must bring a recent headshot and résumé. Two prepared, contrasting monologues totaling no more than four minutes are required; actors may substitute a song for one of the two pieces, but no musical accompaniment will be provided.
