The Pima County Department of Environmental Quality wants you to call 622-5700 to report cars or buses spewing disgusting, health-destroying smoke. If you spot any of those wildcat dump hogs call 622-5800 with the location, license plate number and type of trash being dumped. Businesses needing hazardous waste assistance can call the Hazmat Education Helpline at 740-3346. HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE. The Tucson/Pima County hazardous waste disposal site at 2440 W. Sweetwater Drive is open from 8 a.m. to noon every Friday and Saturday for household waste disposal. For more information call 740-3340. RECYCLING CENTERS. The following neighborhood drop-off centers are open 24 hours daily: Cholla High School, 2001 W. 22nd St.; Booth-Fickett Magnet School, 7240 E. Calle Arturo; and Morrow Education Center, 1010 E. 10th St. All city and county landfills also have recycling centers. Call 791-5000 for hours and locations.
