CREATIVE SPIRIT FESTIVAL. Monterey Village. 6230 E. Speedway.
Celebrate at the Spirit Weavers' third annual Creative Spirit
Arts & Crafts Festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, January 24 and 25. Stroll through
the collection of juried artisans and artist demonstrations. Highlights
of the festival are fine art by Erv Johnson, Barbara English and
Ron Fleetwood Johnson and Sabine McDonald Johnson. A portion of
the proceeds will be donated to One-on-One Partners, Inc., a mentorship
program for at-risk youth. Their representatives will be on hand
with information and to accept donations. Call 546-4656 for information.
DANCE JAM. Mat Bevel Institute. 530 N. Stone Ave. Dormant
for the past 13 months due to the sale of the Southwest Center,
the Club Rhythm Dance Jam is back at 8 p.m. Saturday, January
24. This all ages, smoke-free dance party will jam to everything
from world-beat, tribal, techno, rock and roll, blues, ethnic
dance music, and about anything else you can think of. Admission

Learn about the health care options available to you at "Alternative
to Traditional Medicine" a free seminar begining at 9:30
a.m. Sunday, January 25. Individuals from Tucson's medical and
alternative health communities will present lectures on such topics
as: "Exercise and Pain Control", "Healing Foods"
and "Integrating Alternative and Traditional Medicine at

WALKING TOURS. The Arizona Historical Society presents
Walking Tours of Historic Tucson from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays
through March. Begining at the Sosa-Carillo-Fremont House Museum,
the tour takes you to more than 20 homes, sites and historic buildings.
