Opening This Week
ARIZONA THEATRE CO. 330 S. Scott Ave. 622-2823. Opening
December 5 and continuing through December 21: Five Guys Named
Moe, featuring Louis Jordan's Greatest Hits. There's a preview
performance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, December 4. Audio-described
performances are December 7 and 10. There's a post-performance
discussion after the December 9, 10, and 17 performances. The
December 16 performance will be ASL-interpreted. Performances
run Tuesday through Sunday. Tickets range from $18.50 to $27.50
for evening and weekend matinees, available at the ATC and Dillard's

LIVE THEATRE WORKSHOP. 5317 E. Speedway. Opening December
5 and continuing through December 14: Agatha Christie's Murder
at the Vicarage. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday,
and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $8.50, $7.50 for seniors. Call

UPSTAIRS THEATER COMPANY. Tucson Center for the Performing
Arts. 408 S. Sixth Ave. Opening December 5 and continuing through
December 14: Italian American Reconciliation. There's a
preview performance at 8 p.m. Thursday, December 4. Performances
are at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and at 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday,
with additional performances at 8 p.m. December 10, and 2 p.m.
December 13. Sunday, December 7, is "Seniors Day," with
reduced admission prices for seniors. Preview tickets are $5.

through December 13: Beauty & The Beast. Performances

is most appropriate for ages 4 and up. Tickets are $6 for adults,
$4 for children, with free tickets available to non-profit organizations.

5: The Kentucky Cycle, Part I, by Robert Schenkkan. Performances

Cycle, Part II. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. December 4 and

APRIL PROJECT. Theatre Congress. 125 E. Congress St. Upstairs
Theatre continues The April Project New Play Reading Series with
Tucson playwright Rhonda Tagliacozzo reading The Shaming of
McGrew, a contemporary, romantic fairy tale about the vast
possibilities of love, at 7 p.m. Monday, December 8. Reading will
be followed by an informal reception with refreshments and feedback
