AUDITION NOTICE. Cityplayers Theatre Company auditions
for remaining roles in a new adaptation of Shakespeare's The
Tempest, and Terence McNally's Love! Valour! Compassion!
Volunteers are also needed for all phases of the Theatre's technical

AUDITION NOTICE. Mimesis Productions announces auditions
for Bruce Zortman's play The Last Day in An Actor's Life: The
Amazing Marriage of Charles Laughton and Elsa Lanchester.
Production dates are March 18 through 21 in the Arizona Theatre
Company's Cabaret Theatre. Bring a résumé and be
prepared for cold readings from the script. Actors will receive

a staged reading of a new play in January. Black actors and teenagers

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS. Desert Players Theater of
Tucson is holding a national, one-act play writing festival. Submissions
should be original one-acts dealing with the change of the millennium.
The top three submissions will be performed by Desert Players
Theater during the 1999 season. Include a cover letter about the
playwright, address and phone number. A self-addressed, stamped
envelope is required for the script's return. The first 100 scripts
received will be considered. Deadline for submissions is December
