FALL READING SERIES. UA Modern Languages Auditorium. The
UA Poetry Center continues the 1998 Fall Poetry Reading Series
with Lucille Clifton on Wednesday, December 2. All readings are
free and begin at 8 p.m. Persons may request a sign language interpreter;

DEAD POET'S SOCIETY. Let your creative juices flow!
A safe place to read poetry and prose. Discussion and feedback
are encouraged at these bi-monthly meetings. Call 750-1482 for

CALL FOR ENTRIES. Messages From the Heart, a journal
dedicated to letter writing, is accepting heartfelt letters, journal
entries, poems essays (800 words or less) and artwork for cover
and interior pages. The focus of the issue is on mailboxes. Send

ECLECTIC WRITERS GROUP. Eclectic writers meet from
7 to 9 p.m. every Tuesday to read original works, practice writing,
critique work and discuss related issues. All forms, styles and
