SPORTS Participatory CEDRIC DEMPSY RUN. Run, walk or skate for a good cause and a cure in the 14th annual Cedric Dempsey Cancer Center run on Sunday, November 3, on the University of Arizona mall. Registration is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 2, at The Tucson Mall. There will be 10K- and 2-mile runs, plus a 10K and 2 mile in-line skating race. Be a sport and help support the Tucson Center for Women and Children, where women and children can find shelter from domestic violence and abuse. On November 5, the TCWC will have a drawing for two seats to a variety of sporting events, including: Ice Cats, UA Football, Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Coyotes, Bat Cats, Lady Cats and others. Hop on a shuttle at any of the five locations in town: El Con Mall, Park Mall, PCC West Campus, and Smith's Shopping Center of the Tucson Mall.
