This free Halloween bash starts off at the Pinnacle Peak Restaurant where the first 700 kids in costume receive a bag of goodies. From there the costumed kids will wind their way down to Dinosaur McDonald's for Ronald's magic show, then over to the La Plaza Shoppes for a best Jack-o-lantern contest. There will also be a jumping castle, face painting, games, prizes, Tucson Police Department demonstrations and trick or treating at Tanque Verde Merchants. The George Phar Legler Society is proud to present a new "old-fashioned" Haunted Ruins show that's big on fun and not too scary, for children and adults of all ages. The Tucson Shalom House is a transitional housing and counseling program for homeless women with children that provides skills and opportunities for women to become premanently independent and self-sufficient.
