BAKED BENEFIT. 3520 E. Grant Road. Find homemade goodies
and a treasure or two at the Division of Developmental Disabilities
Rummage and Bake Sale, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and from
7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, September 13 and 14. All of the sale's
proceeds will help Tucson's low-income families with essential
items for children, medical equipment, etc. Call 318-3510 for

CAT'S MEOW. TCC Convention Center. 260 S. Church Ave. Fancy
felines from around the country have the opportunity to earn Top
Cat status at the 1997 Fall All-Breed Cat Show, from 9 a.m. to
5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, September 13 and 14. Plenty of kitties
strut their stuff, plus there will be vendors selling pet supplies,
cat accessories, and cat-related gifts. Admission is $4, $3 for
seniors, and $2 for children 12 and under. Call 622-3827 for information.
FOOD FAIRE. Plaza Palomino brings back its weekly Gourmet
Food Faire from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays, beginning September
13. Enjoy live music, and browse the wares of the more than 40
vendors of organic produce, gourmet food, fresh-cut flowers, and
Southwest specialties. Admission is free. Call 795-1177 for information.

WOMEN'S WELLNESS CAMP. The YMCA of Tucson invite women
to unwind and re-charge at its annual Women's Wellness Camp, October
16 through 19. This weekend getaway at the Triangle Y Ranch Camp
near Oracle, Arizona, offers women an opportunity to get away
from the frantic pace of every day and enjoy swimming, horseback
riding, massage, aqua fitness, stress management seminars, facials,
journal writing, mountain biking, hiking; as few or as many activities
as they wish. Discounts are available for YMCA members and non-members
registering before September 15. Financial assistance is available
