The Center offers a free four-week training course to prepare volunteers to lead the Oracle Odyssey program for schools. The Pueblo Grande Museum and Cultural Park presents a van tour and hike in the Clear Creek Wilderness from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, September 15. Participants will take a van to the trailhead where they'll embark on a four mile round trip hike. The trail is steep and moderately difficult. Hikers must be in good physical condition, wear proper hiking shoes, bring 2 quarts of water and a snack lunch. Cost is $45, $30 for members. Pre-registration is required. There you can get back to nature and enjoy bird watching, guided tours and hikes. Regular preserve hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Tours depart at 8 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; Art in the Park tours, docent-guided looks at gallery exhibits, are at 11 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
