Events This Week ANTIQUES GALORE. Park Mall. 5870 E. Broadway. Old is beautiful at the Acorn Antique Guild's antique show Thursday through Sunday, August 15 through 18. There will be family heirlooms, china, crystal and more. Show is open during regular mall hours. DOWNTOWN SATURDAY. Check out galleries, street performers and unique downtown Tucson sights all day and night Saturday, August 17. Celebrate Tucson's 221 birthday with Rafael Moreno & Descarga, Tucson's premier salsa band, from 7 to 10 p.m. on Pennington Street between Scott and Sixth avenues. Donations will be accepted for Chicanos Por La Causa during the performance. Thee Tragidiots, those swashbuckling Shakespearean rogues, will be in the Arizona Alley (south of Congress Street) from 8 to 10:30 p.m. Enjoy art in paper, cloth and ceramics at the Arts For Me children's exhibit from 7 to 10 p.m. on the corner of Pennington Street and Sixth Avenue. The Tucson Nonprofit Council and the ChiliHeads of Arizona present the Fire in the Foothills Chili Cook-Off from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, August 17, at the Foothills Mall, corner of Ina and Thornydale roads. More than 30 nonprofit organizations will have booths set up to inform you and receive your support. At 11 a.m. some 30 "chili chefs" will start simmering their culinary masterpieces. Entertainment includes Clowns, face painting, raffles, magic and more throughout the afternoon. Live entertainment begins at 1 p.m., with chili tasting at 3 p.m. Call the Volunteer Center of Tucson at 886-6500 for information. ANIMAL ATTRACTION. Join other fun and compassionate people for an evening of entertainment and fun at 8 p.m. Friday, August 16, at the Stellar Cellar, 3335 E. Grant Road.
