"Desert Diamond Community Skates," free summer skating
sessions from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on the first Friday of

TUCSON SIDEWINDERS. Tucson Electric Park, 2500 E. Ajo Way.
The Sidewinders play the last game of a mid-season homestand against
the Salt Lake Buzz on Saturday, August 1. First pitch is at 7
p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets range from $3 to $8. Vouchers good for $1 admission to
every Monday night game are available at all Circle K stores.
Two-for-one tickets are available every Tuesday night for Safeway
Club cardholders. Every Wednesday, hot dogs are just 25 cents;
and on Thursdays, all beer and soft-drinks are $1 from first pitch

ULTIMATE FRISBEE. The Tucson Ultimate Frisbee Club announces
free pick-up games at Himmel Park from 5:30 p.m. to sunset, continuing
Sundays throughout the summer. Co-ed summer league nights meet
Wednesdays through August 5. League registration fee is $15. All

YOUTH BASKETBALL. Sporting Chance Youth Basketball is now
accepting registration for youth teams interested in participating
in the McDonald's Summer Slam V Youth Basketball Tournament held
August 6 through 9. The tournament is open to teams in 10 different
divisions. Team fee for the high school divisions is $195, and
$150 for youth divisions. All teams are guaranteed at least four
games. Games will be played at the UA Bear Down Gym and other
Tucson locations. Space is limited and teams are registered on
