The Peace and Dignity Run is to commemorate 500 years of resistance to cultural extermination, starting with the arrival of the Europeans. A benefit to raise funds to support the runners will meet at Skate Country, 2700 N. Stone Ave., on Thursday, August 1. Admission is $2, and skate rental is $1.50.
