MARSALIS/STRAVINSKI. Centennial Hall. 1020 E. University
Blvd. Marsalis/Stravinski--a joint project of The Chamber
Music Society at the Lincoln Center Artistic Director David Shifrin,
and Jazz at the Lincoln Center Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis--includes
a new reading of L'Histoire du Solda, narrated by André
De Shields; and the premiere performance of "A Fiddler's
Tale," a new work by Marsalis. Performance is 8 p.m. Friday,
May 1. There's a pre-performance "Arts Encounters" discussion
at 7:15 p.m. in Room 101 of the Douglass Building. Tickets range
from $25 to $39, with discounts for UA faculty, staff and students

TUCSON CONCERT BAND. Reid Park. The Tucson Concert Band

The Tucson Girls Chorus performs its annual spring concert at

FOOTHILLS WOMEN'S CHORUS. A group of women who love to
sing, no auditions required, meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays in
the Dove of Peace Lutheran Church, 665 W. Roller Coaster Road.

performed in front of various organizations and retirement communities.
