May 10: Arms and the Man, the classic romance by George

408 S. Sixth Ave. The Third Street Kids presents theatre for kids:
The Brick and the Rose, a reader's theatre presentation
of the drama by John Lewis Carlino. Performances are at 7:30 p.m.
Friday and Saturday, April 24 and 25. There's a children's drama
workshop at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 25, followed by a reading of
Spencer Howard's The Spirit of the Drum at 2 p.m. Tickets
are $8 for adults, $5 for children. Children who attend the drama

UA THEATRE ARTS WORKSHOP. Directing Studio 116. New Drama

This, a workshop production of the play by Lanford Wilson.

ARIZONA THEATER COMPANY. Temple of Music and Art. 330 S.
Scott Ave. Continuing through May 2: Scapin, a wacky new
adaptation of Molière's classic by Bill Irwin and Mark
O'Donnell. Show times are 8 p.m. Saturday, 7 p.m. Sunday, and
7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Tickets range from $18.50
to $27.50, available at the ATC box office and all Dillard's outlets.
Half-price adult and $10 student rush tickets are offered one

and actors of color for a musical performance of Once on This

Road. The Actor's Theater is seeking actors for their upcoming

to perform a dance combination, a two-minute monologue and have
