TUCSON SIDEWINDERS. The Old Pueblo's Triple-A ballclub boasts a new name, a new stadium and a new professional affiliation with the expansion Arizona Diamondbacks, but there's still plenty of old-fashioned fun at the ballpark. The Sidewinders begin their second homestand on April 30 with a four-game series against the New Orleans Zephyrs. On Friday, May 1, the first 2,000 adults will receive a Sidewinders T-shirt. On Saturday, May 2, the traveling mascot Sport will appear at the stadium to amuse young and old alike. Games begin at 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday at Tucson Electric Park, 2500 E. Ajo Way. Tickets for all games range from $8 to $3. Discount vouchers good for $1 admission to every Monday night game are available at Circle K stores. Two-for-one tickets are available every Tuesday night for Safeway Club cardholders. Every Wednesday, hot dogs are just 25 cents; every Thursday, all beers and soft-drinks are $1 from the first pitch to 9 p.m. For more information call 434-0121. TW
