MARCH FOR PARKS. The Pima County Parks and Recreation Department presents the third annual March for Parks beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 19. This three-mile walk begins at the Rillito River Park and continues to the Children's Memorial Park. Call 740-2680 for pledge forms, registration, and information. ORIENTEERING EXPRESS. Join the Tucson Orienteering Club for some fun and excitement using map and compass skills on Sunday, April 20. The day begins with a beginner's clinic at 9 a.m., then the courses open from 9:30 a.m. to noon, with opportunities for all skill levels. Admission is $6, $8 per team. Wear sturdy hiking clothes and bring your compass. Compasses can also be rented on site. Call 628-8985 for directions to meet site and information. SAN PEDRO TOUR. The second annual San Pedro Valley bike tour is fast approaching. Riders will enjoy a beautiful bird watching ride in the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area, and tours of the historic towns of Bisbee and Tombstone. Rides run from April 25 through April 30, with five riding options and different difficulty levels available. Each day includes one food/SAG stop and one water stop. PLAY BALL. The Tucson Toros heat up the old pueblo with a four-game series against Tacoma beginning Thursday, April 17. Their four-game series against Salt Lake City begins Monday, April 21, and wraps up Thursday, April 24. First pitch is 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday. Hi Corbett Field is new and improved for your baseball viewing pleasure! Tickets are $4 general, $3 for kids; reserved seats are $5, $6 for upper box and $8 for lower-box seats.
