DOWNTOWN SATURDAY. Downtown Tucson is alive all day and
into the night on Saturday, March 7. Kids rule this Saturday,
with family entertainment featuring kid performers from Kids Unlimited,
Tucson Junior Strings, the Utterback Middle School Jazz Band and
others. Foxy the Fox, Boomer the Bear and McGruff the Crime Dog
make special appearances at the Ronstadt Transit Center. There
will also be walk-up art stations for kids. Most events will be
at the Ronstadt Transit Center from 7 to 10 p.m. For information

Street; or call the Arts District Partnership in advance at 624-9977.
TEEN DANCE. Tucson Association for the Blind. 3767 E. Grant
Road. Teens are invited to boogie down from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday,
March 6, at this fun-for-all sponsored by Third Street Kids, Direct
and the Spaulding Foundation. Refreshments will be served. Call

WALKING TOURS. The Arizona Historical Society presents
Walking Tours of Historic Tucson from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays,
through March 31. Beginning at the Sosa-Carillo-Frémont
House Museum, the tour canvasses more than 20 homes, sites and
buildings. Cost is $4.50. Reservations are required. Call 622-0956
for reservations and information.
WAREHOUSE WALKING TOURS. Hotel Congress Lobby. 311 E. Congress
St. The Tucson Arts District Partnership offers tours of the historic
downtown warehouse district from 9 to 11 a.m. the second Saturday
of the month, through May 1998. This expert-guided tour covers
a one mile area, and includes an overview of the area's history,
with brief visits to several artists' studios. Call 624-9977 for
