of the Library present their annual book sale March 4 through
7. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and
9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Tucson-Pima
Public Library programs.
DOWNTOWN SATURDAY. This week's Downtown Saturday Night
celebrates Family Dance Night on March 6. The UA School of Dance
performs from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and the New Articulation Dance
Company performs afterward at the Ronstadt Transit Center, Sixth
Avenue and Congress Street. The Tucson Women's Commission presents
storytellers starting at 7:30 p.m. on Arizona Avenue south of
Congress Street. Stroll down to the Fifth Street Stage on Fourth
Avenue (in front of Magpies) for Jon Murphy from 7 to 10 p.m.
Stop by Winsett Park, between Seventh and Eighth streets, to listen
to the Walter White Blues Revue from 7 to 10 p.m.
EUROPEAN FAIR. The European Multi-Ethnic Alliance of Tucson
presents European Fair '99 on Saturday and Sunday, March 6 and

FARMERS' MARKET. St. Philip's Plaza, River Road
and Campbell Avenue. Every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., more
than 20 vendors sell fresh produce, teas, honey, jams, lemon curd,
bread, smoked beef and more.
FLANDRAU SCIENCE CENTER. UA campus. 621-STAR. Planetarium
shows for February include In Search of New Worlds, The Invisible
Universe, Under Arizona Skies and more. Exhibit admission
is $3, $2 for children 14 and under, or free with a theater ticket
purchase. Telescope viewing is free. Daytime exhibit hours are
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Sunday and evening hours are 7
to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Free telescope viewing hours

FOOD FAIR. Visit Plaza Palomino, on the corner of Fort

organic veggies and fruits, breads, salmon, Arizona emu, fresh-cut
