Listings ARIZONA THEATRE COMPANY. Temple of Music and Art. 330 S. Scott Ave. Opening March 6 and continuing through March 25: Rocket Man, by Steven Dietz. Preview performances are at 8 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 7 p.m. Sunday, March 2, and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, March 3 through 5. Performance times vary. There are audio-described performances March 8 and 11; and an ASL interpreted performance on March 17. Post-performance discussions are March 11 and March 24. Tickets are $18.50 to $27.50. Opening This Week

PEKING OPERA. UA Centennial Hall, located on University Boulevard, east of the Main Gate. The internationally acclaimed Peking Opera Company performs their ancient mixture of theatre, action, dance, music and drama at 8 p.m. Friday, February 27. A free, pre-performance "Arts Encounters" discussion meets at 7:15 p.m. in Room 101 of the Douglass Building. Tickets range from $15 to $24; with discounts for UA faculty/staff. PUSHING THE ENVELOPE. YWCA Theatre. 738 N. Fifth Ave. Opening February 27 and continuing through March 15: Mercury Productions, Upstairs Theatre Company and Millennium Theatre Company present Pushing the Envelope, by Tucson playwright W. Jesse Greenberg. There is a preview performance at 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 26. Performances are at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and at 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $12.50, $10 for seniors and $8 for students. There is an audio-described performance on March 7. Call 791-2263 for information.

UA REPERTORY THEATRE. UA Drama West Building, located on the southeast corner of Park Avenue and Speedway. Four performances only, February 26 through 28: Sophocles' Antigone, translated by Dudley Fitts and Robert Fitzgerald, and directed by M. Curtis Grittner. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, February 26 through 28, with a Saturday matinee at 1:30 p.m., followed by a post-performance discussion. Admission is free, but obtaining tickets in advance from the Fine Arts box office is highly recommended. Ticket holders must take their seats at least 15 minutes before curtain; all remaining empty seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. LIVE THEATRE WORKSHOP. 5317 E. Speedway. Continuing through March 8: Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning love story, Anna Christie. A reluctant prostitute sets out with her sea-faring father, and falls in love with a shipwrecked Irish stoker. Monica Kester, Jonathan Ingbretson and James Mitchell Gooden star. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8.50, $7.50 seniors, and reservations are a must. Call 327-4242 for tickets and information. ARIZONA REPERTORY THEATRE. UA Laboratory Theatre, southeast corner of Park Avenue and Speedway. Continuing through March 1: Blood Brothers, the story of twins separated at birth. CALL FOR ENTRIES. Third Street Kids seeks scripts for a One-Act Play Marathon to run April 20 through 26. Plays are to be 40- to 60-minutes long, and will be presented by a wide variety of organizations including professional, semi-professional and high-school drama clubs. There is a $50 entry fee for all scripts; fee is refundable if script is not accepted. Third Street Kids also seeks theatre professionals to sit on an ad hoc committee to read scripts. Third Street Kids is a performing arts company designed to provide education, training and experience in the arts to children. Call Marcia Berger at 622-4100 for information.
