Best Sports Bar

Famous Sam's
Nine locations

READERS' PICK: The true test of a sports bar is whether it appeals to those fans who don't imbibe. Heck, you get somebody drunk enough, they'll watch a TV test pattern and eat cardboard (if there's enough catsup on it). But if a sports bar is still fun for a non-drinker, you've really got something. So we asked our resident teetotaler to rate Famous Sam's, and he agreed. "Great fries, good chicken strips, lots of TV sets." That makes it unanimous. Sure there's one on every corner, but each is a locally owned franchise, so you can still buy into that "Tucson First" philosophy while rooting for your favorite out-of-state teams.
