READERS' POLL RUNNER-UP: J. Kareiva, 309 E. Congress St., is hip, cool and comfortable. This little store in the Hotel Congress consistently offers Tucson studs an advanced peek at California-based fashion. Never pretentious, occasionally humorous, it's simply the best place to get dressed down for laid-back success in the red-hot Pueblo.
CAT'S MEOW: Let us tell you, we've seen a whole bunch of men shopping in Victoria's Secret, and we just know they're not giving all those fine little slips and red silk bathrobes away, dahling. We know plenty of guys who look absolutely fabulous lounging at home in some of those flowing, satiny nightgowns with just the littlest bit of lace near the deep neckline. And if they're not wearing it, they're buying the finery for their women to wear because they like it so much. (How many women do you know who would buy a green, thigh-high teddy that looks like it was from the Star Trek costume department?)
