CALL TO ARTISTS. T/PAC, 240 N. Stone Ave., has applications and guidelines for 1999 Artist Fellowships. Four $4,750 fellowships will be awarded in visual arts; one $4,750 fellowship in literary arts; one $4,750 fellowship in performing arts; one $4,750 fellowship in traditional/folk performing arts; and one $4,750 fellowship in media arts. CALL TO ARTISTS. Tohono Chul Park seeks science-oriented images and artwork dealing with the ecology and life cycle of the saguaro cactus. Work in any media illustrating or exploring the saguaro and its role in the Sonoran desert will be considered. Images may be literal or philosophical. An exhibit held in the park's Main Gallery will run from February 3 through March 29, scheduled to coincide with Merged Realities, a conference exploring the synthesis of art and science. Deadline for submissions is December 15.
