Preview performances Saturday, November 30, through Thursday, December 5: Swinging On A Star: The Johnny Burke Musical, a Southwest premiere written and directed by Michael Leeds. This chronological showcase features seven musical vignettes, highlighting the best of Burke's stellar career with 40 of his greatest songs. Half-price tickets for either performance on Sunday, December 1, are available with the donation of at least 4 non-perishable food items per ticket for the Community Food Bank. Old Pueblo Playwrights announces open auditions for several roles in staged readings of new plays to be presented in January as part of the New Play Festival. Full-length and one-act unpublished plays, and scripts which have received workshops and/or readings are eligible.
