More than 300 musicians and singers from the Arizona Chamber Choir, the UA Symphonic Choir, the University Community Chorus and the University Symphony Orchestra will perform Ein Deutsches Requiem, by Johannes Brahms, at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 20. BAND DAY. The University of Arizona Band Department presents its 44th UA Band Day, beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, October 19 at Arizona Stadium. Approximately 42 high school bands from across Arizona, as well as the UA's own Pride of Arizona will perform. Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day. Admission is $4, $2 for seniors and music lovers 8 and under are free. Complementary parking is available in designated stadium lots. BISBEE CABARET. The 55 Main Gallery hosts an informal Coffee House "Cabaret Unplugged" from 8 to 10 p.m. every Friday. This free, open mike event provides musicians, poets, vocalists, entertainers and listeners with a relaxed atmosphere. Format is acoustic. Call for information or to reserve a performance time slot. There will be live performances until 7:30 p.m. featuring Crawdaddy-O, The Gardner/Ulman Quartet, The University of Arizona Jazz Ensemble, The Jeff Haskill Quintet and The Tucson Latin Jazz Orchestra.
