CALL TO ARTISTS. Dinnerware Contemporary Art Gallery is accepting slides for its artist roster. Inclusion on the roster confers eligibility for exhibitions and membership in the artists' cooperative. To qualify, applicants must work professionally in the visual arts (not be working toward a degree), be Tucson residents, pay monthly dues of $35, and be willing to contribute time and energy to the Dinnerware Artists' Cooperative. CALL TO ARTISTS. The Tucson International Mariachi Conference seeks submissions for the Tucson International Mariachi Conference poster. Submit original artwork, sketches, or three slides of work completed within the last two years. An honorarium of $1,000 will be awarded. Work should reflect the 1998 Conference theme: Aires Mexicanos--its impact and cultural significance--in an abstract or representational style. CALLING COMMUNITY ARTISTS. The Tucson Arts Brigade is a multi-cultural, intergenerational collective of community-based cultural workers. They're seeking artists interested in collaborating on neighborhood and community-based art projects.
