Grab your cash and dash down to the UA Library's booksale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 2. With more than 20,000 books, records, magazines, sheet music and more, you'll be sure to find something to please. There will also be homemade treats and coffee available for purchase from the Library Staff Association. The Arizona State Museum Library, one of the foremost anthropological libraries in the country, will also be participating. COINS OF THE REALM. Sabbar Shrine Temple. 450 S. Tucson Blvd. Buy, sell and trade at the Coins of The Realm Coin and Stamp show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, September 29. There will be a wide variety of collectibles, coins, tokens, post cards, sports cards and more. Free appraisals. Admission and parking are free, and event has handicap accessibility. HARAMBEE FESTIVAL. Mansfield Park. 2000 N. Fourth Ave. Bring the entire family to Mansfield Park from 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday, September 28, for the annual Harambee Festival, featuring ethnic food booths, live entertainment, community speakers and information on many of the human-service programs in Tucson. Harambee, a Swahili word meaning "coming together," is a community festival for everyone. PARTY AT THE PLAZA. 2940 N. Swan Road. Enjoy the Plaza's Gourmet Food Faires Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There's live music, organic produce, gourmet food and Southwest specialties to sample and purchase. Celebrate the arrival of fall at the Spirit Weaver's Autumn Spirit Arts and Crafts Festival from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, September 29. Browse the wares of the more than 70 juried artisans and bring along a non-perishable food item to be dropped off at the Food Bank booth. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Community Food Bank. Call 529-2072 for information. TOTAL ECLIPSE. Flandrau Science Center, UA campus on the northwest corner of Cherry Avenue and University Boulevard. In addition to having telescopes set up on the UA mall to view the total lunar eclipse, Flandrau will also have two screenings of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of The Moon laser light show at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m., with proceeds benefiting children's science workshops. Cost is $5 and tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis. Call 621-STAR for information.

WALKTOBERFEST ALERT. Get your friends, neighbors, kids and colleagues together for Walktoberfest '96 on Sunday, October 6. Teams will compete for prizes, with individual walkers also welcome. After the walk there will be an awards ceremony with live music from Pulse; Tuffy Toro and Wilber and Wilma Wildcat will be on hand to visit with the kids; munchies from Eegee's and more.
