The fifth-annual Arizona Photographic Collectors auction
offers a preview glimpse at the goods from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday,
August 6; the auction proper begins at 7:30 p.m. Call 529-5072

MOON STROLL. The Valley of the Moon. 2544 E. Allen Road,
north of Prince and east of Tucson Boulevard. Wander at your leisure
through the gardens, pools, caverns and pathways from 7 to 9 p.m.
on the first and third Wednesdays of July and August. Admission
is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted for the restoration
of this Arizona Historic Registry site. Call 323-1331 for information.
MULTIMEDIA MONDAYS. Hotel Congress. 311 E. Congress St.
Upstairs Films presents a screening of several short films at
8 p.m. Monday, August 10: Big Trouble in Little Tucson, Mommie
Queerest, Plan 10 From Outer Space, and Amazing Grace.
POOL OF FUN. The Tucson Parks and Recreation Department
sponsors several opportunities for free summer fun for families
and teens at municipal pools. The final Friday night teen pool-party
meets from 7:30 to
11 p.m. on August 7. And Family Dive-In Movie Nights conclude
with a movies and fun from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, August 8.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Call 791-4873

STAR WARS TRILOGY. The UA Physics department presents the
first in a series of three presentations called Science and
Star Wars. These free presentations include screenings of
the films and related demonstrations involving the study of physics.
The second event takes place at 2 p.m. Friday, August 7, in Room
201 of the Physics and Atmospheric Sciences Building, 1118 E.

BEVEL'S LEVEL. Mat Bevel Institute. 530 N. Stone Ave. The
Sweat Like Hell Rebellion...Now I'm Cryin' Revival Show features
performances by Philip and Arthur, Circus Wee Wee, Professor Hall,
and Brother Bevel and the Not for Hire Choir at 8 p.m. Friday,
