GARDENING BOTANICAL GARDENS. 2150 N. Alvernon Way. Summer hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. The TBG nursery is closed until October. Guided tours of the gardens are at 10 a.m. Wednesday and Saturday. Admission is $3, $2 for seniors, and free for children under 12. Practice the art of Botanical Illustration in a four-class series from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 20, through Saturday, August 10. Cost is $52, $48 for TBG members. Call 326-9255 for information.
