AFRICAN DANCE. 121 E. Seventh St. Learn the movements of dance from Guinea, Senegal, Nigeria, Afro-Brazilian and Cuban regions with teacher Denise Hawthorne Bey, from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesdays, and 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Saturdays. You'll also learn the intricacies of the music, and the traditional songs and their meanings. BALLROOM DANCING. Enjoy dancing at the Arizona Ballroom Company, 5536 E. Grant Road, from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday evenings. Singles and couples of all ages and levels are welcome. You'll start the evening with a 30-minute class, then dance the night away! You can also enjoy dancing to live music from 4 to 6 p.m. the first Sunday of the month. Cost is $5 per person.
