Continuing through August 18: Selections from the Collections , recent acquisitions including Western American art, ceramics from Asia, Mexico and the United States and Mexican folk art from the museum's permanent collection. CALL TO ARTISTS. The City of Tucson is renovating two branch libraries. Artist proposals are being accepted for public art for the Woods Memorial Library and the Valencia branch library. A pre-submission meeting for the Woods Library will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at 3455 N. First Ave. in the Community Meeting Room. Pre-submission meeting for the Valencia branch is at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at 202 W. Valencia Road in the Community Meeting Room. Artists may submit ideas for one or both projects. CALL TO ARTISTS. The Downtown-Lohse Family YMCA invites Tucson artists to display artwork for a nine-month period in the Y facility in exchange for a nine-month YMCA membership. CALL TO ARTISTS. The City of Tucson Parks and Recreation Department seeks artists to join the project design team for the new Quincie Douglas Center.
