DAMESROCKET THEATRE. 125 E. Congress St. Damesrocket Theatre
announces a summer/fall play reading series featuring new works
by Tucson and regional playwrights. Plays will be read on the
last Monday of each month. The series of six plays begins at 7:30
p.m. Monday, June 29, with a reading of Elaine Romero's Barrio
Hollywood, under the direction of Caroline Reed. Each reading
will be followed by a reception. Admission is $3 for each reading

INVISIBLE THEATRE. The Doubletree Hotel. 445 S. Alvernon
Way. Opening July 2 and continuing through July 11: Invisible
Theatre's sixth-annual Sizzling Summer Sounds, featuring
selections from Tony Award-winning Broadway favorites and a salute
to Seasons of Love. Show times are
8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday. There is
no performance on Saturday, July 6. Seating is limited and reservations
are required. Tickets are $16 for Wednesday and Thursday shows,

GASLIGHT THEATRE. 7010 E. Broadway. Continuing through
August 15: Beach Blanket Bee Bop. Performances are
at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, with additional shows at 9:30
p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 3 p.m. Sunday. Select Tuesday evening
performances are also offered. Tickets are $13.95 plus tax, $11.95
for students, seniors and active duty military, $6 for children

ARIZONA YOUTH THEATRE. 5671 E. Speedway. Continuing through
June 27: Tom Sawyer. Performances are at 8 p.m. Friday,
