EL DIA DE SAN JUAN. Celebrate the birthday of St. John
the Baptist and the arrival of the monsoon season with games,
food and local music from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 24,

FAMILY BARBECUE. The Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club welcomes
the public to join its members on Friday evenings for family barbecues

FARMERS' MARKETS. Two Farmers' Markets take place on the
weekend: From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays, vendors sell fresh
produce, teas, honey, jams, lemon curd and natural beef at Park
Mall, 5870 E. Broadway Blvd.; and from 7 a.m. to noon Sundays,
more than 20 vendors hawk similar wares and treats at St. Philip's
Plaza, at River Road and Campbell Avenue.
FESTIVAL FOLKLORICO. TCC Music Hall. 260 S. Church Ave.
The Ballet Folklorico San Juan presents a show of Mexican dance
and Mariachi music at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 27. Tickets are $8,
$6 for children 12 and under, and are available at the TCC and
Dillard's box offices.
FLANDRAU SCIENCE CENTER. UA campus. 621-STAR. The June
shows are: In Search of New Worlds, Under Arizona Skies,
Adventures in the Solar System, Our Place in Space
and Light Years from Andromeda. Exhibit admission is $3,
$2 for children 14 and under, or free with a theater ticket purchase.
Telescope viewing is free. Daytime exhibit hours are 9 a.m. to
5 p.m. Monday through Sunday; evening hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday
through Saturday. Free telescope viewing hours are 6:40 to 10
