DESERT BLUEGRASS JAM. The Desert Bluegrass Association hosts a jam at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, at Schlotzky's Deli, 3025 E. Speedway Blvd. Play, sing along or just listen. All are welcome.

FOOTHILLS WOMEN'S CHORUS. A group of women who love to sing, no auditions required, meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays in the Dove of Peace Lutheran Church, 665 W. Roller Coaster Road.
