The Festival will offer Arizona audiences the opportunity to view more than 70 new films and videos from around the world. Laffs Comedy Caffé. 2900 E. Broadway. The third annual Hope, Healing, and High Jinks, an evening of yuks for a good cause, starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 29. Local stand-up stand-outs, and live and silent auction are all part of the fun fundraising for the Tucson AIDS Project, Shanti Foundation, and the People with AIDS Coalition of Tucson. The Tucson Waldorf Education Association presents their annual May Day Festival, beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 1, in Himmel Park. MULTI-MEDIA EXPLOSION. Casbah Tea House. 628 N. Fourth Ave. 792-9910. The Tucson Arts Brigade presents their Multimedia Party and Fundraiser beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 26. This family-friendly event features a community art exhibit, poetry readings, slides on the Brigade's cultural activities, and live music. The George Phar Legler Society presents favorite fairy tale characters, as only the Valley of the Moon players can portray them, in Phractured Pharie Tales running weekends from May 1 through 11. This special fundraising show leaves the gate every 30 minutes from 7:30 until 9:30 p.m. Admission is $5, $3 for kids, with free admission for moonwalkers under age 7.
